In-person sessions are available in Racine, WI, or I offer online throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. Try virtual therapy, which offers the opportunity to experience help and healing from the safety and comfort of your couch rather than mine.
In Racine, the office is conveniently located at 4000 Spring Street across from Ascension Healthcare. The building includes Pope Chiropractic, Mission Family Care, and American Family Insurance.
I accept the following insurance: Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Quest Behavioral Health, Ascension Smart Health, UnitedHealthcare, and Oscar Optimum (pending).
Therapy is an investment in your wellness. You can choose when you feel confident enough in yourself to discontinue, but I will be here for you for as long as it takes.
Therapy usually lasts three months or more. It is a marathon to discover your best self – not a sprint – and I will be here every step of the way.
I’m glad you’re considering therapy as an option!
During our first session, we will chat so I can learn more about you and your current challenges. Then, we create a vision for your goals and establish a plan to achieve that vision. Follow-up sessions are uniquely designed to help you achieve your goals through developing skills, challenging mistaken beliefs, and harnessing your innate strengths. Progress is continually assessed to foster growth.
Depending on your unique needs, we can discuss this further, but I typically see patients once a week to initiate treatment. Once we establish a good relationship and start making progress toward your goals, we will switch to bi-weekly appointments.
I integrate a variety of therapy models based on the presenting problem and the best fit for you.
The models incorporated into treatment include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Systemic Therapy.
Treatment is evidence-based, trauma-informed, strength-based, culturally sensitive, and faith-based.
